How Kumotrip makes money
Last updated Sun, Oct 25, 2026
Kumotrip is free to start. Here is how we pay for it, in plain words.
Paid plans
Trip Boost and Voyager pay for most of Kumotrip. That money doesn't depend on where you book.
Booking partners
Some booking sites, such as Agoda, Booking.com, Trip.com and Klook, pay us a small commission when you book through a link from Kumotrip. You never pay more: the price is the site's own price.
How we sort results
Results are sorted by value: reviews, quality and price. Partners can't pay to rank higher. We show every site we find, including the hotel's or airline's own website, even when we earn nothing from it.
When prices are nearly the same
When a partner's price is within 2% of the cheapest, for example RM 1,015 next to RM 1,000, we show the partner first. The cheapest price is right below it, marked Lowest, so you can always pick it.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data, add fees on top of a site's price, or take payment for bookings.
The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have the details.
